SOTT was the album coming off of their collaboration together and I think it that is why it was still such a well structured Album. After that things started going down hill. Prince's music was getting more and more "Obsure" compared to what was coming out in the Revolution years. I think they needed each other to make the music. They worked well like all colborative groups do. And what I think happend was that ego's we getting bigger and bigger and since Prince doesn't really like being told what to do with his music he let them go because they were increasingly getting more and more push as to what they felt the music should sound like and what direction sould be taken. Face it the day the Revolution broke up was the begining of the end to Princes most popular era. if they were to get togher again today I think could make one or 2 truly great albums again but it would not last.
