go there, she has got a FUNKY show, it is not really elaborate with special effects, but she is great. she sings a lot now, and she uses a lot of effect on her sax, which sounds so great. she is sweet and friendly and tough and funky at the same time. she sounds better live than on cd. she may even play XOTICA.
yes SIR!

I saw her at Lincoln Center almost 10 years ago now...(it was after she was with Prince)... she opened for Bobby Caldwell of all people.

Anyway she was great! It was during the time she had a single on "smooth jazz" stations.. "Lily Was Here" with Dave what's his name from the Eurythmics. Anyway, she didn't even play it if I recall!!! And it was her single. That's cuz she only played FUNK!!! It was really good. It's like she only wants to play funky numbers.

I'm going to look for tickets now!

literally, she was one of the best shows I've ever seen. She is an amazing performer and sings, dances and blows that sax better than alot of people.

And I'd like to do her but that didn't influence my opinion.

Seriously, the woman rocks. Once you see her, you understand why Prince keeps going back to her for more icing.
