I heard through the grapevine.... I was reading some Jay-Z article; and he said that for his supposed final album, titled "The Black Album" I think, he wants Prince to do a guest appearance. Jay-Z had Michael Jackson on one of his albums he said; and now he wants Prince to be on his last album. Do ya'll think that Prince would do a song with Jay-Z; and, if so, what would it be about? In my opinion, the only song Jay-Z sings that fits into my idea of Prince (old Prince anyway) is "Girls, Girls, Girls".
What type of song could Jay and P possibly do together? Sorry, but I don't see this collaboration happening. Jay is about blingin', platinum albums, and Number 1 singles; Prince now is about Bible study, preaching, and net-only releases. Plus, Jay seems like a perfectionist and control freak, when it comes to his music; and we all know that Prince is definitely on that same level. Who would be in charge? Prince never agreed to do a song... (And why the hell would U ask Prince AFTER U name the album the "Black Album"...tisk tisk  )

i have a friend that bounces and a club N he said jay-z came in with his crew N asked the dj 2 play some prince tunes 4 him. i don't know how many he asked 4 but the dj played like 3 or 4 songs by prince. i also heard that prince is sampled on jay-z single "'03 bonnie & clyde" with beyonce knowles.

Yes, Beyonce sang and butchered those lyrics in "'03 Bonnie & Clyde".  TLC sang it soo much better IMO.
