Yeah!!! Controversy Rocks!!!
I'm listening to Sexuality as I am typing right now. Controversy has to be one of the best New Wave/Funk albums of all time. And you know how I am when it comes to New Wave. "Mama, are you listening? We need a new breed! Leaders stand up! Organize!" His politics weren't on point at the time (like say, Gang of Four or The Pop Group), but it was about the music and the image anyway. By the way, Vashti, thanks for the pics. That was actually the first time I saw that pics of P hiding behind the blinds with a pistol. Interesting. He was on some Stacy Keach, Equalizer joint there. They don't make records like this no more. Shame. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE. | |
