Dr Fink Norwegian artist Pleasure (Fredrik Ball) har recruited former Prince-keyboardist Dr. Fink for a one-song guest appearance on his debut album.
This is what Fredrik had to say: "The idea was to have a keyboard legend to conclude the album. I first asked Keith Emerson, but he wasn't interested. Rick Wakeman wanted to, but was in the states. Then I thought of Dr. Fink. I really admire Prince, and Dr. Fink has been a big influence on me. I found Finks cellphone number on the internet and gave him a call. He was all for it and honoured to be asked. We spent to days calling back and forth, and he recorded the solo from his studio in Minneapolis. I still haven't met him." Good story I think. The album has received great reviews in Norway. The Fink tune is called The Visionary and is realeased on Pleasure's selftitled debut album. Not sure if it is avaliable outside Norway yet. Bye. se på regnet...

He found Matt Fink's mobile phone number on the internet?
That was one aspect of this story which was only mentioned in passing which I personally believe warrants expounding upon.
