The O(+> album Let's get philosophical here for a minute. We all know that Prince released a self titled album in 1979 entitled "Prince". In 1992 he released and then later changed his name to the exact same symbol. Can then be considered his second self titled album even though he didn't change his name to until after it's release? Just something to ponder.

I don't think he concidered changing his name to until after the release of the album. Although the videos had already been made so surly the film was in production at the time! Hmmm...I really don't know.
I concider it to be a Prince and NPG album and that is the credit on it! [This message was edited Mon Oct 20 13:23:40 PDT 2003 by CAMILLE4U] NOTE: THIS ACCOUNT IS NOW CLOSED. PLEASE CONTACT “K A M L L E”

The Love Symbol Album might as well have never been made in my opinion. All the gals say hoe if your man's giving up the gold. All the fellas say ruff if you're only giving up the bone.

Maybe, but in spite of that can it be considered a second self titled album or not?

The first song on the album is called 'My Name Is Prince', not 'My Name Is...ssshhhtttooonk'(you know the noise I mean!)
I think that, for me, tells me it's a Prince album, not a o(+> album

Some of y'all are hard on this LP. actually, it has got a lot of good stuff. It's a few skits, "3 Chains O'Gold" and one TONY M away from being, dare I say it, among his better albums.
I think of: "Sexy MF" "Love 2 The 9's" "The Morning Papers" "The Continental Pt. II" "7" "And God Created Woman" (one of the best Prince ballads EVER) "Sacrifice of Victor" And I have the nucleus for a great LP. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016
