The SOTT and UTCM are ripped right from the laser disc, so that means that the quality is fantastic and it tracked just like the laser disc. My source tells me that the quality is great for both the sound and video. The Diamond and Pearls video collection is ripped from the video and is tracked. I will be getting the SOTT and UTCM because I know the quality is a direct duplicate of the laser disc on dvd. The D and P video collection I might wait on.

UTCM has an annoying hum running through it. otherwise what ive seen of these are very good. and No i dont know where u can get these.

it seems that the only videos of note not yet available is graffiti bridge and prince and the revolution live.

what i really want though are excellent dvd copies of beautiful experience parade cobo gig and love4oneanother.

i guess these will surface sooner or later as more people get dvdwriters and advanced software as there must be many people with great quality stereo recordings from tv of these events. just a matter of time i guess.

I recommend everything on Lust's list except for Miles From The Park since it's a Quicktime file.Most collecter's can get better copies on VHS of that.

I think the Syracuse 85 & Detroit Birthday gigs are the obvious choices for the next releases..

I'd love the Beautiful Experience on DVD. I have a taped copy, but it's not visually appealing.

Come On Brave. . . RELEASE IT!!!


BTW: If you can get your hands on any of BL stuff, pick it up. It's the best.

anyone had trouble playin these on their DVD players??? I have UTCM, Lovesexy, Promo Vids and recently got the Undertaker. They played fine for the first week or so, but now they won't play well or some don't even play at ALL!!!
My player seems to be fine...it still plays other DVD's, it's just these BRAVE label ones seem to be self destructing...any input would be greatly appreciated.

You know it's really a sad commentary on Prince's part that we fans go crazy when a boots of videos and movies and stuff are readily available like this.

I'd love to see these DVD's but I get simply angry at Paisley Park for not listening to Prince fans.

One thing though, is that ya'lls gave me an idea...just get the laserdiscs a laserdisc player and a DVD recorder. Simple.

I'm planning on getting the DVD recorder to transfer lots of video I have.
