What type of motorbike does Prince ride in purple rain? Can anyone tell me?

It was a Honda GoldWing semi-stripped.

PEACE N B WiLD!!! Some sort of trail bike (not sure what) was also used in some scenes. Can't remember exactly which scenes use it other than the lake scene where there's a close-up of the back wheel spinning in the dirt (as Prince spins speeds off pretending to leave apples by the lake) you can see its a trail bike, not the Goldwing. Actually, I know nothing about bikes so for all I know there could be more than two used in various scenes. I have no doubt there are others out there with all the correct info.
