Which Prince Album Brings back the fondest memory?

I'm posting this after going through my collection of things, which always casues me to get sentimental. I put the Rainbow Children in again for the first time since 2002.
Oh wow! My last year of college! The nights listening to it while 2-waying my boyfriend and waiting for him to return from the club. (ahhh the life of minor celebrity-dom..we work for opposing radio stations...hee hee).

Nothing but good things come to my head...how about you all?

SOTT, Gold, and The Hits B Sides

The latter two hit me really hard when I was just getting into Prince in 94/95, and SOTT just bowled me away around that same time just because it was so powerful. I can remember what I was doing the first time I heard it, and how I had leave the house after listening to the first half to go to dinner and I had the melodies of Slow Love, Dorothy Parker, Starfish and Coffee, and Hot Thing running through my head throughout the whole meal. I couldn't wait to get back home and hear the rest of it!!

cool PRINCE (self title album). My friend & i use to play it all the time. We would blast it & crack jokes on the songs "I Wanna Be Your Lover" & "Bambi". PURPLE RAIN I always think about when we went to the concert. That was the first time we saw Prince live. :MUSIC:

Diamonds and Pearls. It was my first year of college and see there was this girl and she had this tape and I didn't know who it was, but Insatiable was on it and... kotc then a little oral afterwards some boff2 then finally a good smoker

Okay so maybe it was just me jerkoff but I got the memories whenever I play that album.

Or maybe the best memories are when I was finally man enough to walk into a record store and buy Lovesexy without givin' a damn what a bunch of complete strangers thought-- as if they cared in the first place. lol

Nah, it was Parade. I was at my own short-lived but productive creative peak when I got into this album, Axis Bold as Love, and Stevie's Journey Through The Secret Life Of Plants. I had quit my job to devote all of my time to painting (bad move) just holed up in my apartment lying around in front of my stereo staring at my paints. Three months, dozens of sketches, lots of great music and one painting (since discarded) later and all I could do is laugh at myself.
Now five years later and I'm back in school, go figure. Still I wouldn't trade it for the world. There's nothing like a creative high. It's addictive.

Parade & SOTT...I remember buying them the day they came out...it was springtime...and I loved both of them instantly. I played both albums constantly for years after. The minute it starts getting warm in the Spring I immediately want to hear both albums.

Basically, most of his records from the 1980's. Those fond memories usually involve me listening to these at home or my experiences in elementary school.

1999---the lp is a classic and opened up the doors for Prince as a superstar.

Also created a bomb ass tour with the Time and Vanity 6.

OK, can't believe I'm saying this but, it's NPS.

Whenever I hear that album (which is rarely!) it takes me right back to the Summer of 1998 and the concerts in London.

'1999'.It reminds me of alot of things. It was released at a time when my parents were separating,I was moving to a new neighborhood, starting a new school, and other changes, some of which were scary. That album was the soundtrack of that strange time for me.

Sign 'O' The Times.

Always reminds me of the summer and being in France with my folks in the car. It was alway on and they were happy times. I remember always thinking If I was your girlfriend didnt make a whole lotta sense 4 obvious reasons cuz I was so young.

Adore reminds me of past loves and admittedly and cheesily Ive used lyrics from the song 2 impress girls! eheheh redface

Finally, its the very album that made me a fan in the 1st place.

SOTT-I graduated from hell(high school)and I got the album as a graduation present.

Lovesexy-That album made me so happy and when I listened to it over the weekend, it reminded me of a time where P thought God loved everyone and not a select few.
