Movie... Hes done Purple Rain
Hes done Graffite Bridge Then he gave us Under the Cherry Moon But... who out there would like to see something new from the purple clad wonder in this media? Do you think he is capable of making us think and feel like he did with Purple Rain, Make us wonder as he did with Graffite Bridge, or even make us laugh like he did with Cherry Moon? Would any one like to see Prince's return to the big screen?

Another crack-up movie like UTCM would be great! If it was going to be anything like GB then I'd have to say no. Life it ain't real funky unless you got that orgPop.

I think it would be cool if he popped up in some obscure, creepy, independent film as say, a gas station attendant in the middle of nowhere, or as a cab driver. Maybe a circus performer too. oh dear god, NO!!
his acting skills are... mediocre at best, and since he refuses to let someone else write or direct, i would dread to see the results. if he would let someone else write the script and someone else direct, then yes Power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely. - Lord Acton

like HBO's CARNIVALE mini-series? I don't even know what that is. But, uh, yeah. Like that. A Depression-era traveling circus circuits thru the Dust Bowl region. Heavy overtones of evangelical revivals and supernatural battles of good and evil. Very macabre; excellent viewing. No black people in it just yet. http://www.hbo.com/carniv...ory0_show4 test

Isn't Johhny Depp already doing that role? "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

i've often thought that Prince would do a good job in some animated movie... using that powerful voice of his and his quirky sense of humor.
what do you think? Pixar anyone? "No, I'm not that mysterious. I'm a pretty open book. People who know my music, I would say know me." - Prince, Today Show 3/15/04

Now that musicals are hot again ("Chicago","Moulin Rouge",etc),perhaps Prince could make a decent musical? But it could only work if he got a director and a writer to help him out with the script.

I always thought, that back in the day..he would do that!!! (someone else directing, of course...) the purple ticket contest..with a tour of paisley park would've been cool...but as I said "back in the day" his mystique is gone!! The Prince.org Photo Album http://www.purplehouse.nl...ery/Jacqui

I would have luved to see him do a cameo in the Matrix re-loaded. He could have been one of the cats on the council of elders. Hell, everybody else was popping up left and right in the movie. He has the quirky look for it. I also think that he would have made a good Jedi. He looks good in capes and shit. **************************************************

But, people would confuse him with the uummpa-lumpas. He is a short man after all. I can picture Prince singing this uummpa song: "Uummpa-lumpa, doopity-dee; I'm am Prince, so listen to me. If you are lost and need a hand; talk to my old pal, Larry Graham." SPREAD LOVE UNTIL THE SUN'S FINAL RISE--The Duality a.k.a. "WYNTER SKYE"
