One year since Manchester

i cant believe its been a year since i witnessed the Manchester shows.
they were too funky.
Australia u remember and give our little man a warm Australian welcome...im kinda jealous.

Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
woot!

WOW! 1 year!

My overdraft is now clear (!) but the memories live on. Great shows - very different both nights.

I got pretty emotional when he played Purple Rain.
I never thought I'd hear it live.

What a night that was.

Best 2 concerts I've ever seen. Loved hearing SOTT live! The 1st Prince record I bought. God I hope he comes here again soon. Don't want 2 wait 5 years again!

First and only time ive seen him live. Never though i could respect the guy more than i did before these shows, but afterwards a whole other level of respect was acheived. The Ladder, Empty Room, and Purple Rain, all unexpected, all unbelievable.

Roll on world tour 2004...cant wait.

Those two concerts were unbelievable! I didn't know what to expect.

When he came out in that pimp cap, and suit!! How sharp did he look. And that second half on the piano, playing classics...fuck me!

I thought the first night was better, although he did seem to get into more on the second. What does anyone else think who went to both.

These shows ripped the piss out of the Gold experience tour, and were definately better than the NPS show at brixton (although that also was a fuckin good show).

I CAN NOT WAIT TO SEE HIM IN MANCHESTER AGAIN! when is that gonna happen?

My thoughts exactly. What a finale that was, When he started playing Empty Room i swear my head nearly exploded with joy.

Also have to say it was kind of a thrill to see him get off his tour bus and enter the venue smile
