I like the first line, "Love come quick, love come in a hurry; there are Thieves in the Temple tonight." But, I can't help but think how defenseless he sounds. It's like the brotha can't protect himself or something. Hey, Prince, just put some caps in some asses or beat them down with your walking cane! I know you've got some Bruce Lee moves that you ain't showin' us. Seriously, I like "Thieves in the Temple"; but what is he screaming about at the end of the song?

I liked the video when it came out. I, as a kid was so shocked when I saw him sporting a beard. It doesn't really take much to impress a 7-year old, you know? I was in my room dancing along to Prince & the Game Boyz doing their thang on the rooftop. Anyways, being the worshipper of Prince almighty, I thought the song was the schiznit in typical Prince fashion.
