"An important addition to the band was Rosie Gaines, a full throated vocalist...etc...etc..." full throated...when the hell did throated become a word? I'm not sure when the word 'throated' evolved, but it certainly exists. It features as an adjective in the 1983 Chambers Dictionary (although I'm reasonably sure it predates this), and it can be found at www.dictionary.com very easily. The expression (as a combination adjective) 'full throated' is not uncommon when used in relation to singing. . I'm still laughing at American's pulling up people for grammar usage !
It's a bit like George Bush's family acusing someone of vote rigging | |
