Years ago, I KNEW nobody past or present could touch Prince. Period. With perspective, one realizes it's impossible to make such comparisons. All I will say is Jimmy Page gets his due and then some. Jimmy Page is far superior ... when it comes to play ROCK.
Prince is the coolest when it comes to play FUNK. Jimmy isn't funky (the grunge) Prince's rock ain't kickin' hard. Jimmy has a foolish double-neck guitar, Prince has far more idiot guitars (which all sound less than the Fender ... so quit the bullshit and stop making an ass of yourself: dump those foolish guitars) Eddy Hazel rules | |

Could probably give him a killer tone. Jimmy Page is more blues based. Prince can flip thru jazz, funk, blues and rock. I don't care which one is better, but I rather hear and see Prince do his thing. | |

Jimmy Page is pretty fuckin excellent and I think plays a whole different style... but honestly , pause to take a sip of KoolAid... Prince can handle anything Page has done. I think at least! -------------------------------------------------

Honestly I cannot compare them to one another.
if I really push it I would have to say Prince is better all round, and that's only because I have heard him play accoustic (as good as Clapton) rythm / blues (as good as BB) but no one can play like Jimi did! -"If U don't like,
