heres the track list: http://www.prince3922.fre...ament.html just wondering. Set would be better if it was in chronilogical order IMO but shit that's a minor complaint when U look at it 617 tracks and the Work clocks in at 331 or so.

The tracks on the actual CDs (all four of them) ARE in chronological order.

In what way do you consider the tracks not being in chronological order? . [This message was edited Fri Oct 3 16:22:13 PDT 2003 by langebleu] ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.

Yes, I have it. I've taken the most important documentations of his outtakes and put them on 14 cd's and called the set "Grooves and Grooves up on the shelf". The last 2 cd's are NPGMC songs, and has "the War" as a bonus. Pretty cool set. I felt like "the Work" was a good set, but I didn't really need versions #3, #4, #5...etc. of certain songs on those cd's. 20 cd's is an awful lot. But there are a disturbing number of fakes on the "Testament" set. Why would someone pass off their own music as Prince's?

Testament is provided with an html interface to access the files chronologically
TESTAMENT is in alphabetical order. e.g. Volume 1: 1976 - 1984 Open the html index file for this disc Select 'Play all 1986' The following is played in the following sequence: Sweet Thing (4:23) Prince's unreleased cover version of the song by Rufus. Wouldn't You Love To Love Me? [#1] (3:52) Very different from the version of the song that Prince later gave to Taja Sevelle. I Spend My Time Loving You (7:17) Unreleased. The song title is tentative. Rock Me, Lover (3:49) Unreleased. Instrumental [#1] (0:38) Unreleased. Do You Wanna Ride? (5:12) Unreleased. The song title is tentative. Nightingale (4:14) Unreleased. Leaving For New York (5:49) Unreleased. Instrumental [#2] (0:30) Unreleased. Instrumental [#3] (0:29) Unreleased. Instrumental [#4] (0:37) Unreleased. Instrumental [#5] (0:50) Unreleased. Telephone Conversation (0:56) This is apparently a recording of Prince talking on the phone. Instrumental [#6] (0:59) Unreleased. Instrumental [#7] (0:57) Unreleased. For You [#1] (1:06) Alternate version. For You [#2] (0:41) Alternate version. Hey Lover (0:41) Unreleased. For You [#3] (1:17) Alternate version. For You [#4] (1:15) Alternate version. Instrumental [#8] (0:07) Unreleased. Soft And Wet [#1] (3:17) Alternate version. Instrumental [#1] (Moonsound) (7:21) Unreleased. Instrumental [#2] (Moonsound) (0:35) Unreleased The original 'Testament' was delivered on a 4 disc CD set. It has only (relatively) recently been transferred to DVD. . . Fakes?! Care 2 share? Well, I'm in Tennessee right now, but I will be returning 2 Detroit in the morning. When I get settled in (unless someone beats me 2 it), I'll post the songs that are fakes, cool?
