Deborah German (casting director) DOES cast real music videos. Curious...

Anyone have additional info on a song called "Musicology"?

Well, Prince has been doing some video shooting in LA last week, so it might be for real.

JUST FOUND THIS ON ALT.MUSIC.PRINCE:

SO MUSICOLOGY IS A REAL SONG AND IT LOOKS LIKE A VIDEO IS BEING SHOT SHORTLY!

anyone heard the song? what type of groove is it? any good?

Video shoots here in Los Angeles on 10/10 and 10/11...

I have Deborah German's extras casting hotline number so I will call it next week to see if she is looking for extras for this video shoot. At the least I may be able to find out the location of the video shoot.

hmmm...so the rumours of him getting in with a new label might be true after all. let's hope it's a good year after all.
he is gonna have to build on a comeback if that's what is planned. would be cool if he was on the way back but i severely doubt it if that's Prince's intention.

Musicology is a nice upbeat tune. I was behind Ms.Handclap tapping my foot when the song came on. People were dancing to it too.All i remember is that he didn't use a high pitch voice throughout the song.

the real question is this: if and when this video gets filmed, will it be actually shown or just get tossed in the paisley video stash along with the other unseen footage from paisley parties and the like?

Whats all this "hit" talk. hits are as phony as the artists who have them. all it means if you have alot of killers on your team...
