October 13th - HMV Australia releases Aladdin DVD

HMV Australia has got PRINCE - LIVE AT THE ALADDIN DVD down for a local release on October 13th.

Link to the online order is here:

http://www.hmv.com.au/v4/...sku=898706

Question is, Does any Australian fan have any money left?

Aussies might be broke.

But they're rich on personality lol

EH...already bought at it at the admittedly rip-off price of $50 from Red Eye over a month ago.

Couldn't wait though and I'm glad I didn't. I love that DVD and it is the answer, I believe, in turning non-fans into fans. Prince has a lot of broad appeal on this DVD because he has matured a hell of a lot with the newer material. Like someone else on the org one said, he reclaimed his soul.

There's none of that unecessary eccentric mawkishness on this DVD (Rave un2 the Year 2000 anyone? well it wasn't all bad...but Aladdin is basically all GOOD!)...there is more personality when acknowledging his audience that extends beyond the doe-eyed come-hither look of former years.

I love RedEye Records - they really are the best music store in Sydney...

but sadly their prices have been creeping up over the last 5 years or so sad
Hard to believe I've been on the org for over 25 years now!
