11 Auburn Hills, MI (Detroit area) – The Palace WHEN he comes back to Detroit, I doubt seriously he'll be at the Palace. The last Palace gig wasn't so great--it was full of a lot of "we only like Purple Rain" fans, and tons of people walked out on the encore. The last few times he's been here, he's been INSIDE the city limits where more hard core fans are (State Theatre, Detroit Opera House, Joe Louis Arena) and had excellent shows. | |
