Ahhh...

That song ROCKS!!! It's one of m favorite tracks from SOTT. I remember seeing the video for the first time. It was basically the performance that was lifted from the SOTT movie. I liked the way he was rocking his solo while lifting up his leg.

I also thought Jordan Knight's cover wasn't too bad either. Now on with the criticisms...

ICNTTPOYM is my favorite Prince song of all time. I love the version from the Sign O'The Times movie and the guitar solo is one of his best.

The version on dream factory is superior. There is a breakdown just before the guitar solo (similar to the Little Red Corvette 12"), and when the guitar solo breaks loose, its far more effective than on the SOTT version.

This is among my top 3 fav prince songs. Its a bit lightweight, but who can resist the melody, beat and guitar work. Hopefully this will make a return to the live set (a la When U were mine on the last tour) for his next world tour.

Is it true that it's a 1980's song and that he has reworked it for Sign?
