Prince tickets for went on sale this morning across Australia with Melbourne in particular leading the pack for sales, selling out in under an hour.
This is the start of the world tour where Prince has announced he will be performing his hits for the last time. The record sales for Melbourne lead to a second show going on sale immediately. Prince will perform two night sin Melbourne, October 21 and 22. They will be the first two shows for this tour on the planet. His label NPG describes the upcoming show as "one long dance party with no gimmicks, no pre-recorded music and no prisoners taken." PRINCE AUSTRALIAN TOUR DATES: October 21 & 22 - Rod Laver Arena - Melbourne October 24 - Sydney Entertainment Centre - Sydney October 27 - Brisbane Entertainment Centre - Brisbane by Paul Cashmere I particularly liked this bit: '...They will be the first two shows for this tour on the planet.'
