NPS and (sue me) disc II of "Emancipation".

And yes, there are songs from both that I like from each of these, but as wholes, I can't stand 'em.

Probably The Symbol Album of 1992... some great song, but not my cup of tea.

'Come' is okay..'Letitgo' is a classic

Side 2 of 'Emancipation' is easily the most commerical

For some reason, I don't listen to 'Controversy' a lot except the title track..and maybe 'Do me Baby' and 'Let's Work'
A lot of thje songs like 'Annie Christian' and 'Private Joy' are unlistenable

Nah, The Truth actually has some descent tracks on it. "Don't Play Me" by itself is better than all of TRC.

Diamonds and Pearls and N.E.W.S. I'm not particularly fond of Crystal Ball's 3rd disc, either.

NPS is pretty damn terrible. But I can tollerate 2 or 3 songs on it. I can't tollerate a single track on TRC.

I'm shocked at the replies...

It's easily Diamonds And Pearls and Rave.

D&P? It's got Gett Off AND Willing and Able. The first Rave I didn't like, the remixed Rave, I can listen to.

Kamasutra or NPS.
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

Although I like most of the individual tracks, as an album altogether my least favourite has to be Diamonds & Pearls.

Sometimes I find myself in need of a Gett Off fix but tend to dig out the extended version on the CD single instead.

TRC is EXCELLENT. Top 5 easily.
NPS is an NPG album, but if we're including it as a Prince album then I happen to like it. Push It Up, Freaks, Come On, The One, Wasted Kisses, (eye Like) Funky Music, Mad Sex - yeah, I think there are some good, funky, party songs on there.

Rave, well, it's not one of his best, but Baby Knows, Rave, TGRES and eye Love You but eye Don't Trust U anymore are good songs. And of course - Pretty Man!! Yay!

Controversy is poor, IMHO.
8 songs, 37 mins, only the title track and Do Me, Baby worth paying the money for. Ronnie, Jack U Off and Private Joy are just embarassing. Maybe it just hasn't aged well (I was 3 when it came out in 1981)!!
