What's your favourite performance of Prince on piano?

Prince is a master on piano. A lot of peple dislike the second Cd of ONA because of this long part of piano, but I was looking forward to an album like this or the One Night Alone piano album, 'cause I love when Prince is electric and has a full band, but I adore to see him playing alone without machines or things like that. Showing us he is a real and marvellous musician.
But what is the best performance of Prince on piano?

In my opinion, Condition Of The Heart (especially the prelude), Under the cherry moon, I will, One nite alone, Have a heart, Let's have a baby if we talk about ballads.
Sexy Dancer, Damned if I do, or Temptation in high tempos.

What's your favourites?

Without question, it would have to be when he closed the DC After-Concert last year with a blazing, 12-minute piano solo rendition of "The Farmer In The Dell." Pure magic. The crowd was spellbound. Simply awesome.

The Paris Bataclan performance is nothing compared to this one.

[Insert standard prince.org bootlegger's blatant "contact me and I'll sell you a copy" hint here.]

But then, solo piano aside, nothing compares to the sizzling, funky 20-minute Vegas After-Concert version of "Jimmy Cracked Corn" -- Prince on keys, Santana on lead, Maceo on sax, Celine on vocals. Blew my mind.

Javier, I'm not saying this just to be nasty but ... I wouldn't say he's a master on piano. But then I haven't seen the shows some of these guys are mentioning.
In a couple of hundred years historians may discover that Prince's lyrics were written by Christopher Marlowe.

Ok, man. I suppose we can argue if Prince is a good player (guitar, piano, bass or drums) or not and a lot of people would say yes and a lot no. I'm not very interested in that argue. I think Prince is a master for two reason: he has a good technique (maybe not the best one, maybe even Renato Neto sounds more sophisticated on piano, but Prince has the enough to play almost everything), and because he plays with his heart and he has the ability to make you feel a lot of things.
Prince is a very good pianist, maybe not the best, but one of them.

I love him on piano too and yeah he definitely plays/composes with feeling. I heard some Michael Jackson stuff from the 80s on the radio today and I was thinking that MJ sold hugely but if you listen to his stuff and compare it to the maestro there's no feeling. I mean compare Thriller to PR. Thriller has some great songs and MJ is a great singer but it just doesn't have the emotional intensity that PR has.

I think keyboards is Prince's best instrument; unlike most orgers who think its guitar.

The medley of Do Me Baby, Aint No Way & Nothing Compares 2 U, he performed at Wembley in summer 1990 on the nude tour. Cant remember what night it was, but ive a bootleg of it, and its the best version ive heard him do of all three songs ever.

I have no idea what the orgin of this is but years ago I bought a casset tape off a guy vending at my college.
it has along piano medley starting with 17 days
tape begins with Prince saying "is that my echo"
excellent piano playing very emotional
