I bought this album when it came out on vinyl,i really loved it!,esp the Prince collab"The dance electric"!},i also enjoyed the opening track,"Sensitivty" i think it was called,really cool funkiness. And a lovely ballad which title i can't remember and another catchy little ditty "lipstick lover".As i haven't had a deck for years i haven't been able to play this gem of an album{amongst many others!},So i would be EXTREMELY interested if this lp "AC",ever had a cd release.Please help!and your thoughts on Andre CyMone are most welcome.Much love x

I have it on cassette, it is pretty much a Princ abum that he gave to Dre, especially "the dance electric" that was all P, I could dub it and send to you if you like.

It was never released as a single in Ireland or the uk and you had to order the lp on import,i'd love to see that video!The dance electric reminded me of the earlier song"Controversy"for some reason.It might have something to do with some music press i remember reading about how AC had something to do with the "Controversy" track.This was a long time ago...

I remember that song & the video. I liked it. I had a crush on Andre. I always thought he would end up producing other artists besides his ex-wife (Jody Watley). I always wondered why they kept their marriage a big secret... that was weird. "LIKE WHO CARED ANYWAY"!

'The Dance Electric' is an post-Purple Rain era track that Prince gave Andre Cymone, who then included it in his "AC" album, shot a video for it and released it as a single.

Personally, I think you'd be much better off listening to Prince's full-length demo version.

Dance Electric is one of my all time favorite songs ever! Now yall talkin about the VIDEO!!!??? I never seen it! ! ! ! ! ! Y ME!!??? GOOD LLLAAAWWWD!!!

I like the Abndre version and the Prince version. But the Andre version has way better sound on it that's all, but P's version can put u on a high!

I Loved "Lipstick Lover" damn good jam, "Satisfaction" "Sweet Sensuality" and "Vacation" were good jamz from that album!

I put my cassette version of the album onto CD. Not a bad album, but Dance Electric is the balls.
