Umm, I'm still confused. So they are auctioning off Four (4) identical packages starting at $300? So this is just for one person, you can't bring a date? Four people will get the package? confuse

Well, i'm not going to bid. I'll just take the front row ticket.. when are they going on sale sheila??

Yeah I think that's how it's going to work. 4 packages starting at $300, but that sucks that it's only for one person, most people would want to take someone with them.

Sounds like info. on pre-sale tickets is "forthcoming".. maybe after the auctions end, and they see how much people are willing to pay?

The auction is live now. But I'm a bit confused.

It seems like the 4 packages are identical but the auctions are simultaneous... so it could be the luck of the draw if you bid x dollars on package A but lose out by $1... whereas package B might go for a lot less and you would have won if you bid on Package B?

Also, it seems like unlike eBay, you just bid your real maximum bid... no proxy bidding like ebay.

Has anyone bid? Are my assumptions correct??

I think it's the top 4 bidders will win, cuz bids are not specific to any package.

Actually the bids DO SEEM like they are for a specific package. At the top of the bid form there is a drop down where you you pick which package (it says "please select" as default).

Also, each package has a different high bid.

I hope I'm wrong though

No you right. I didnt see the drop down menu. And the last time I had checked the bids they seemed to be ordered from highest to lowest. That is kinda crazy nuts

I'm gonna wait til tomorrow at midnight to see what the numbers look like... they are already heading well beyond what I'd pay so I guess I'll settle for regular tickets for this joint.

Just thought of something.

Does "Midnight Monday September 29" mean midnight between Sunday and Monday or Midnight between Monday & Tuesday??

I know technically it is the former, but when people talk and say "Midnight on Monday" they usually mean the latter.

Wonder which they really mean.
