Great song, should have been released. I would love to hear Prince's vocal on this. the song's on the 2nd album, what time is it? and yeah, i love this song as well!!! girl, i want to love you i know i could... I love this song, and by the way, you DO hear Prince's vocals on it. Listen to that part when they sing, "...I know you wanna be free... Sooo free". This is my favorite Time song, but 777-9311, COOL, Get it Up, The Bird, The Walk, and Gigolos Get Lonely Too are my others. [This message was edited Fri Sep 26 13:09:15 PDT 2003 by whodknee]

1. Get It Up --- I was about 12 years-old (hormones in a rage), and could swear that Prince was singing in the background (especially a "yeee-hoo" that I recall to this day and an "ah" after the line "...can't u see, ur killing me-ee.."
2. 777-9311 --- Funky Funky bass. Period. That 3 minute groove session with the break ("Terray!...") is pure funk. The cymbals, synths, damn. Just everything. Rise up

I dont' have Ice Cream Castles with me at this moment but I remember thinking either "Chili Sauce" or the "the Kid can't make you come" sounds a lot like the music from Do Me Baby.
I love most of the Time's stuff but my fav's are: Cool 777 9311 Chocolate The Bird Jungle Love (really all of Ice Cream castles) Jerk out

I think their stage act makes up for the bland music.
Or just accept that it is non-pretentious and shallow, funky nonetheless. Well, that could explain why they are still around. I do like 777-9311 though.

I like them all!!The most underated is I Don't Wann Leave You.Chili Sauce and My Drawers are two more underrated faves.
When I saw Prince with Kurt Loder hesaid the vault ha more The Time songs!!I REALLY want those!!And I think I read about a song called Colleen I would love to hear! I've seen The Time over the years about 10 times, including back on the 1999 tour. They ALWAYS rock!!I really wish they would elease a great live cd.I do have a boot of them in cali and it's pretty cool.I also found some site that had several dvd's of The Time live and wth all their videos.I MUST own those.Especially, the one with the promo vids!! I can't wait for them to return with a new album and I want a live album.I beg them to not use rappers on their new album or not play funk/rock!That's what I've hated about more recent efforts by Parliament and their gang, they've used cool grooves and then ruined them by having some rapper on the tracks!I liek hip hop and funk to be seperate.Rap doesn't belong on a Parliament track.( I know some have used samples successfully for hip hop efforts and that's cool-I'm talking about ruining potential classic NEW P-Funk tracks with rappers) "I'm a pig..so,magic elixir I swill"

I Don't Wanna Leave You is an excellent track as is My Drawers. I like all the songs by The Time 2 and would like 2 see them in concert. Does any1 know if The Time R 2 Tour Europe soon?. Most of their shows r in the US but I'd like 2 see them in the UK, that would b c-o-o-l.
The Time r in the film 'Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back', they perform 'Jungle Love' @ the end of the film!

My Drawers! "Climb in my fur."

Get it Up- funky as hell, nice bass, keyboards, and vocals
777-9311- probably one of the funkiest songs of all time, certainly of the 80's Jerk Out- the song and idea inspired me to run the hell out of women to this very day.
