If you had to choose: New Prince-album or tour in your country

OK, Hong Kong and Aussie-residents shouldn´t answer this.

What would get you more excited right now? A definite release-date for a new Prince-album (on which he sings) or a definite tourdate near your hometown?

I´d go with the album.
See the man with the blue guitar, maybe one day he`ll be a star...

Reckon Id have to go for the live show, although Im really itching for a new album.

Saw him live in Manchester last October for the first time, and it was mind blowing. A new album will come eventually.

that would be his 3rd album in a year, xpectation, NEWS and this one, plus thats a tour and did the ONA tour go on into this year too? plus a DVD, obviously i know lots of people think all of that is shit quality, but i like NEWS! so im happy!

shocked YOU want an album?

I'd go with the album too. The shows are great (I've only been to one of his though and he didn't dance hmph! ) but the experience fades quickly except for the feel, the atmosphere, the spectacle, the thrill of hearing... Oh, who am I kidding? Gimme a tour.

a tour pretty please !

last year my girlfriend (roisin) and i saw prince play purple rain on his own before the soundcheck (london) , we were in the q for seating and i went to the toilet which was upstairs in the arena i could hear him playing and snuck into the balcony area and low and behold the wee fellow was sitting on the edge of the stage playing pr on his own !!! ona !! , i went back down and told roisin to ask for the bathroom , she did and couldnt believe she saw him on his own playing pr she was terrified he'd see her and get thrown out !!!. the souncheck was short and sweet strollin and alphabet st, the gig was UNBELIEVABLE ! trc live was really quite something else ! , then onto the aftershow !
2 feet from p for just over an hour in concert (heaven) and he even through in sign o the times tooo. at four o'clock in the morning we were walkin in london high on p live ! i coulnd't stop yellin the work !!! its a wonder i didn't get arrested ! i felt exactly the same way as i did at my first p gig lovesexy 88 , and i had travelled planes ,trains and automobiles to get there from glasgow

so this is fu**in easy i'd take THE TOUR ! EVERY TIME !

CAN YOU PLEASE CONSIDER THE ABOVE WHEN DESCRIBING ME AS A HATER ON "OTHER THREADS" BECAUSE I RECKON THE VEGAS DVD DIDNT COME UP TO SCRATCH.

Remember the Gold Experience tour. It rocked, without the album.

Since I've seen Prince too many times to count, if he is doing a greatest hits type tour, I'll take the album. But if he is gonna get all experimental musically, I'll take tour. At this point it's kinda looking like album is getting my vote.
