How much would you pay to meet Prince? With all this Bitchin about ticket prices, I was wondering, how much would you pay for a meet and greet session with Prince? This is not for the people who live in MN and have access to the park. This question is for people who would probably never see him up close and personal. I would probably pay up to a grand, depending on what the "session" would entail. I know some of yall will think that I am crazy. But this is a person that I have admired for most of my life and who I will probably never meet any other way.

Check my Stymie in Australia thread. I have often said that I don't want to meet the man but, if I could and be able to ask him just three questions and have him answer them truthfully, it would be worth any amount of money to me.

I pay 2 see him perform but i would NOT pay any monies to meet prince, i would rather give the monies 2 charity...
I never thought i would see the day that Prince would do a pay,meet & great session ~Times R A Changing~

Man, I'm poor So, I would have to wait out in the parking lot by his limo to meet him. That's free. He has to come out of there sometime. lol. If anyone asks me what I'm doing; I'll just say that I'm washing the car or checking the tires for any problems; hey, they could be those damn Firestones that caused problems 3 years ago. Or, I could hide underneath the car and wait. I swear I'm not obsessed. Maybe a little nutty; but, not obsessed. SPREAD LOVE UNTIL THE SUN'S FINAL RISE--The Duality a.k.a. "WYNTER SKYE"

I wouldn't want to meet Prince. I've read too much stuff about his behaviour to put me off.

Met him twice...
He was VERY easy going and cool as hell! Oh, and it didn't cost me a thing

I met Prince, and I was sitting here trying to think how much that experience was worth, and then had a good laugh at myself for it. It's not that simple.
Value of having I-met-a-rock-star story to tell people? Oh. . .it's been sorta fun. . .I'm gonna say about $18.75. Value of having a philosophical discussion with an interested person: priceless. One of my favorite things. Outside of the realm of monetary value. Value of fully realizing that a person is completely in the grips of religion-induced insanity and that the only person who can rescue him is himself: I'd pay something to erase that experience from my memory. How much? Well, at least $18.75. So. In terms of monetary value, that experience is worth, at best, nothing.

I never thought i would see the day that Prince would do a pay, meet & great session ~Times R A Changing~ I like this response Katt. I know other performers do the special VIP packages - and if that's their thing so be it. But I wouldn't pay to simply "meet" anyone. Just can't see it.

What did he say/do to make you feel this way?
Nothing that he hasn't said onstage, basically (which is the only reason I'm willing to discuss it). It's just different when somebody grabs your hand, looks you in the eye, and tells you what he thinks. He believes it so hard that he thinks I'm nuts for not believing it, and more or less said so. What can you say, you know? He's stuck. He's got to have the emotional resources to get himself unstuck; arguing with him is pointless. This is true of most religious peeps, of course.
What is the "it" that he believes? The Jw religion? Is that all that he talks about in person? Did he actually hold your hand? I would piss my pants if he held my hand. The closest I ever got to him was at a concert at San Jose state. I was about 15 rows back in the standing section. That was the first time that I realized how truly big his head is and how truly small his body is. **************************************************

totally understandable, but i gotta say one thing: i don't understand why folks outside of minnesota think that if you live here you have never-ending access to ol' boy, when in reality that's far from the truth. paisley parties and such have been pretty much dwindlin down to a small trickle in the past few years, based on all the testimonials that i've read from the locals and from some friends of mine who are on here as well. it ain't like none of us run into him while shoppin at lund's or sumfin, y'know. so, i'ma go 'head and answer your question: three-fitty. and a pack of apple jolly ranchers.

So, if I did hide under his limo and jumped out when I saw the heels; he wouldn't be able to take me out; because, he's soo little? Yeah, Buddy! I could mace his bodyguard; and, he would be defenseless. Then, P would have to talk to me. lol j/k Please, tell me more about meeting him; so, that I can take some more notes. I might be able to corrupt his beautiful mind a tad bit. lol I can be pretty persuasive at times. SPREAD LOVE UNTIL THE SUN'S FINAL RISE--The Duality a.k.a. "WYNTER SKYE"
