unusuall way of peforming songs

let's talk about diffrent way of peforming some song by prince.
in years prince many time have changed his songs while peforming .
thats a sure way 4 a song to stay fresh.
here are some of the examples

in 2000 he peformed a version of kiss he was playing guitar and it sounded, very hard rock.
in the same year in studio 54 he have performed "she's always in my hair" jazz version.
live he had never played a guitar on "when doves cry" while
he did in the studio.
on ona tour on the first part of tour he didn't play guitar on purple rain.
there are many examples,give yours

I could never take the place ...at Celeb 02 was astoundingly different. As wel as Dolphin on many shows.

I'd like to hear an updated complete version of "Free".

The Aladin Concert had a very slowed down, jazzy "Gotta Broken Heart..."

And then there's "Dorothy Parker" complete fleshed out version unlike the demo sounding version on "SOTT"
