NPGMC will give details as soon as they have them, they have said on a recent (Locked thread), now that has to be before tuesday when tix go on sale to the public. So why the hold up?

Prince and the promoteres will be disagreeing on the method of distribution, Dainty wants the fromt rows for his 400 dollar vip packages, prince wants us to sit there, they cant agree amid intense negotiations, the club cant release info until this has been fleshed out.

possible outcomes, prince threatens to cancel the tour, dainty sayes do what the fuck u want.

my guess though is for an eleventh hour compromise that we will hear about on monday night is this.

we buy wahtever tickets we want through ticketek, 88.50, 150 or 392 dollars. and sit wherever those tix permit us to. We get a special pass (by name booking) to attend the souncheck regardless of which ticket we purchase, and Prince makes sure he does an aftershow for members to make up for the disapointment of shitty seats.

So what do you all think of this scenario being the cause and outcome of our paranoia.

and if im right, one thing prince has in his favor is the soundcheck accsess dainty wants to sell, thats a priviledge not a right, so if we cant get into the soundcheck then he can just make the soundcheck off limits to everyone, hence no VIP packages.

I dont know what the end result will be but I think one thing is for sure and that is that the NPGMC have fucked up again.

I have little doubt that there is currently a "problem" with Dainty over the first 5 rows VIP thingy which is delaying the pre-sale.

However, wouldn't you think that Princes people might have mentioned the club thingy to Dainty when the deal was reached? You know, "Hey Paul, Prince has this music club and if he's coming out to do the gig the best seats go to the club members".

Expecting any business sense from this mob is like expecting Pauly Shore will win an oscar.

This is all baseless speculation unless anyone has any solid evidence of anything.

That's what the club should do.

Now what should WE do? Because the club is late with its info, should we then speculate wildly without any evidence alleging disputes between the promoter and Prince, possible cancellation of the tour, and alternative less than desirable ticketing arrangements for members?
