LET'S DISCUSS ABOUT MISTAKES ON STAGE.
WRONG NOTES,WRONG GUITAR,BASS,KEYS,DRUMS LINES.
I REMEMBER SEEING HIM GETTING WRONG ON LIVESEXY VIDEO.
HE WANTED TO SING B4 IT WAS TIME,AND I SEEN HIM
GETTING WRONG WHILE PLAYING WHY YOU WANNA TREAT ME SO BAD.
HE DIDNT PLAY CORRECT GUITAR SOLO,ONLY A BIT WASN'T CORRECT.
AND I HAVE SEEN HOW
LOUSY WENDY WAS ON GUITAR DURING FIRST AVE 1983.
SHE COULDNT PLAY LITTLE RED CORVETTE SOLO .
ITS ONE OF THE EASIEST GUITAR SOLOS THAT PRINCE WROTE.
SHE IS HIS WORST GUITAR PLAYER.THAT NITE HE HAD 2 COVER HER UP,HE PLAYED GUITAR WHOLE NITE,EXCEPT ON ELECTRIC INTERCOURSE.
BUT MOST OF THE TIME WHOLE BAND PLAYS CORRECT AS A METRONOM.

as far as mistakes go, he seemed really "out of it" for the purple rain show in miami

i learned to play little red corvette solo when i was 14.its very nice solo,but very simple,that's no excuse for wendy.

If you look at the other shows where the revolution performed that song you'd see that she does just fine on that solo.
It might have been nerves as well, as I've said before, it was her first time on stage-ever.
She did just fine for the rest of that show.
She's obviously not the greatest he's had, but pretty decent, IMHO.

when i saw him live i was second row center... he started "face down on the second verse. he got this "oops!" lok on his face, did the second verse, and then did the first... i was laughing my butt off.

michael jackson wuz on stage w/ james.

mikey notices p in the crowd, told james about it; james called ol' boy up on stage.

ol' boy came up on stage (via a piggyback ride from big chick!).

and...he grabbed a guitar from the guitar player from james's band, strummed it for about 20 seconds or so.

did some dumb chit with the microphone stand (you know, all that twirl-between-the-legs-and-catch-it stuff)...let out this squawk (which i've dubbed 'the squawk of death').

took a bow, walked off the stage, and as he wuz leavin he grabbed onto the lamppost prop you see there...it fell down.



the end. moral of the whole thing: too mortifyin.
