I'm not a real fan of Jesse Johnson's solo stuff, he's ok, but IMHO Wendy & Lisa are right up there with The Time (even though The Time was mostly Prince)... Neversin. I guess my only excuse of not owning wendy & Lisa I never been able 2 find a copy of any of their albums

Though his "bare my naked soul" is a must-have, he really found his musical niche there. His other albums (which I have) are very "princely" and sort of umimpressive, IMHO. he's got some funky stuff, don't get me wrong, but I think getting W&L's albums(at least the first 3) first would be wiser. ~KiKi | |
