early version of the cloud guitar I just watched an alternative version of the clip "Wanna be your Lover" (thanks to mr. A.K.).
In this clip, Andre Cymone plays a golden bass, that has the same shape as the cloud guitars Prince started playing around 1983/84. This means that this type of instrument existed allready as early as 1978/79. Anyone else noticed this?? Another prove that Prince borrowed some nice ideas from his then bass player! Peace, jazzz |

Prince's cloud guitar was based on Andre's bass when he was still with P's band...so yes the cloud guitar sorta existed back in '79.  I sincerely want 2 fuck the taste out of your mouth | |
