I knew they were gonna be the hit n run singles as soon as I saw the title of the thread.

I'm probably the only non-american to own those.

My brother-in-law saw a show, and I had heard about these, so I asked him to pick them up for me. Unfortunately, Peace/Cybersingle was already sold out, but I got the other two.

I'm really happy to have them, but sometimes I consider selling them.

I mean, seriously, that is a LOT of money for the packaging. After all, I could always burn them if I wanted before selling. When you consider it was a $10 investment and they're selling for between $50 - $75 a pop, that's quite a return.

Plus, I don't think they'll be worth that much in 10 years.

The packaging for the Peace/2045: Radical Man single is very unique, with a pyramid velcro type closure.

I was lucky enough to buy a set of the singles from someone who had gotten them at one of the earliest Hit N Run shows. At that time, the person sold it at a close-to-market price so it was quite inexpensive.

I don't think many people expected those CDs to go out of print. And while the songs were eventually offered as downloads, the packaging, esp. for the Peace single remains a rarity.

I think they will continue to be pretty costly for quite some time.

There are other non-Americans who own the two singles you own. They were sold at Paisley Park during the 2nd Celebration in June, 2001.

Hoooleee shit!

Some folk got too much money. We ought forward this link to npgmc. Maybe they'll do a reissue when they see what prices folks are being forced to cough up!

Well, I've popped your link up on the 'U Tell Us' section of the NPGMC with a polite hint that they repress these CDs for the retail.

Probably won't happen but it can't hurt to try planting the idea in their heads!
