Lets Guess - Who's the new girl in the NPG? Any takers?
I thought Geneeva was going to do the tour (but i really don't think that is her). Will any extended members do the tour? (Maceo, Candy, Larry, etc, etc.) Gotta have some horns yo! and apart from the media saying it's going to be a "hits' tour (how would they know what's on the setlist - they say he's gonna do 1999 - yeah right!), I heard Prince was rehersing ballads. Neto is still in the band, too. He's at the back on the left with a bad Caesar haircut.
The fact that P is going back to 2 keyboardists does indicate he will be doing more older stuff. However, RAD's website indicates she has done lots of jazz stuff; so, perhaps P will mix the old hits with new jazz music. Could be an interesting concoction. | |

I've always fantasized about PRINCE with an all-girl backing band.
SHEILA on drums, RHONDA on bass, WENDY on rhythm guitar, LISA on keys, ROSIE on keys, CANDY on sax. Do u think they'd all get along? or just be bitchy? Would make a great music vid tho', like Robert Palmer's "Addicted To Love", except all these gal musicians would be the real deal. R. | |
