Prince to play Hong Kong

Diminutive funk pop legend Prince will headline Hong Kong's government-sponsored music festival to help raise the profile of the SARS-raveged province.

The purple wonder will perform at the opening gig labeled, Hong Kong Harbour Fest, on October 17, while further concerts will come from The Rolling Stones, Jose Carreras, Carlos Santana, Craig David and even Westlife.

Despite costing $16.7 million to stage, organisers expect the event to help Hong Kong recover from the impact of the severe acute respiratory syndrome crisis, which killed 299 people in the territory earlier this year.

I was at the government too back in 97, but I saw him at Massey Hall in June of 2002. He was awesome at both shows. His live performances are unforgettable.

Not true. I'm a lonely traveller and I love company! What am I going to do at the end of this fab-by-default concert with nobody to yabber to for the rest of the night?
I can't be introspective about seeing Prince.
