Isn't the holy river the same video as the empty room video? Do they both have the same concept? Or perhaps they were both cut on the same day.

how many people can do that in a video and get away with it. I remember seeing that video a long time ago on BET and I think MTv one time. A true classic of what Prince was before Larry Graham messed him all up.

But 2 answer ur Q: It seems that they recorded some of that "Myte dancin" on seperate occasions but used those clips of Myte dancin in both...of course since "Empty Room" vidoe was not released no one would notice and shhh.


I didnt think Scandelous was that nasty or anyhting like that...he just looke DOPE AS FUNK in that video woth that red outfit. Daym.

I think the simplicity of Scandalous made it a perfect performance clip - it summed up everything Prince was about up to that point.

Unfortunately, it didn't have enough jump cuts, explosions or other distractions, so I'm sure MTV didn't have a lot of use for it...
