Prince status in MPLS I was just wondering how much love does Prince get in his hometown?? I live in Vancouver, Canada and bigish artists from this town get no love. Brian Adams is a hated man. Sarah McLachlan is considered a washed up tree hugger. What does the general public in MPLS think of Prince?? I would be so proud if he were a Vancouverite. I was kinda pissed when I heard about his place in Toronto. Ya see, peeps here in Vancity are not down with wit da T-dot. All the gals say hoe if your man's giving up the gold. All the fellas say ruff if you're only giving up the bone.

<---He gets much love here. Especially from the press. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

Yeah, most of the time they seem to hate him... Prince used to live in Paris at times and Los Angeles. They have Mad love for him in France, Holland and the UK. And areas of the USA Like Detroit, Michigan, Major cities in Texas. Florida, New York Definitely Washington D.C. and Altanta, Georgia and parts of California, Washington, Oregon and Alaska.
Everywhere but Minnesota it seems. lol... They also really like him in Japan and Australia.

Your first problem is calling Toronto T-dot. Only lame ass radio jocks and posers and wanna be celebs call it "Tha T-dot!" It's just Toronto, thanks. As for generalizing and saying "peeps" in one whole city aren't down with another, as someone from Toronto, i didn't know that and all you're doing is planting a seed of some idiotic rivalry to alot of people here who will now think nothing else. So you were pissed he moved to Toronto? Get your priorities straight, man. It hasn't changed my life in the least, you're not missing anything. Oh and I'm not saying you have to love this city, of course not, and maybe your friends have a problem with Toronto, fine. But to say that the whole city isn't down with us...well from someone who uses the word "peeps" I don't think you represent the city as a whole. I've lived in Vancouver and I loved it.

Apparantly people in Chanhassen don't even know that Prince lives here. I was running a 5k in Chanhassen last week and the starting line was directly across the street from Paisley and some of the competitors seemed very surprised when I mentioned that Prince owned Paisley Park.
In other news Prince put up a pretty good time in the race. Also, if you are reading this Prince I probably can't use all the coupons for the businesses in Channy so drop me an orgnote and I'll get them to you
