Ok orgers who are NPGMC members maybe you can help me out with this question.

I am considering joining the NPG music club to get a good seat see soundchecks/aftershows, etc for the Sydney show on the 24th.

HOWEVER, I have several friends I would like to go with to the concert who are not members and have no intention of becoming members...SO does this mean they would have to join the club along with me to get priority seating OR can I purchase MORE THAN ONE ticket through the club for them as well as myself without them joining? Get what I'm saying?

surely mambers can buy at least 2 tix right?...right?

u can get one xtra ticket if they r using the same system as last year.

if so,i need someone 2 help m out incase i cant get a credit card by then.

Last year, you could buy two tickets and bring a guest, but one had to be the member who bought the ticket.

That's kinda the whole point of this system, to fill the front rows with at least 50 percent of hardcore fans rather than just a few fans with a bunch of uninterested friends who've been dragged along and eaten up all the spare tickets.

It's good to be surrounded by hard-core fans, then you can have proper conversations rather than "Do you think he'll play Kiss? Rainbow Children, what's that?"!

The system that applied last year was that one membership entitled the member to purchase two tickets to the concert. Members were encouraged to atttend early to collect their two tickets, at which stage they were given both their concert tickets and membership laminates for that evening. The member and their guest were then admitted to the venue, but were not allowed to leave the venue (to prevent people scalping). Soundcheck entrance was not always guaranteed, simply because that was left down to the discretion of Prince. The two laminates provided also entitled the member and the guest admission to any after party or after show after the concert, although the guest (not the member) was sometimes asked to pay on the door of the later venue.

As I recall, when I joined this year, mention was made of concert ticket opportunities for members, but there was no specific mention of entitlement to sounchecks, after parties or aftershows (I could be wrong, but you can easily check by logging in and proceeding as if you intend to join to see the terms and conditions on the screen.) That doesn't mean to say that there won't be such aftershow or party opportunities made available to members for the dates just announced, but I sem to recall that they were not mentioned.

Although i am absolutely stoked that he is coming back. its been 11 years since the last tour and on reputation alone , he will sell out, up to 4 shows if not more, regardless of album sales over the past few years.and again wooo hooo

If they start allowing unlimited number of guests with each membership, it would be real easy for scalpers to hog up seats.
