When he started his little petition against Warner Bros.(walking around with slave on his face). When he kept denying the death of his child. When he would say he does not go by the name Prince anymore...this is his new name pointing to this symbol. When he announced he was using his name Prince again at a press conference he held.

Not releasing Dolphin as a standard single 10. Speaking plus many more... ...including 11. Firing Wendy & Lisa 12. Killing Come, Endorphinmachine and Zannalee before releasing them 13. Employing The Game Boyz 14. Listening to anything Larry Graham told him about "the one, true God" and joining the JW 15. Not taking sound business advice from Warners while in their employ (betcha he has regrets about that now when the implications/limitations of "freedom" have truly had time to settle in, but don't look for him to admit it) 16. Cheating on Susannah Melvoin (betcha he has regrets about that too, hence songs like Violet The Organ Grinder, Zannalee, Curious Child, Strange But True) 17. The Rainbow Children. He was a much more acceptable negro when he just sang and danced. "That...magic, the start of something revolutionary-the Minneapolis Sound, we should cherish it and not punish prince for not being able to replicate it."-Dreamshaman32

Nor am I presuming to speak for anyone else. What you being black has to do with this is beyond me. And what are you apologizing for? Did someone suggest that you did or said something that you must apologize for? Everyone on here just says what's on their mind. So did I. You shouldn't feel like you have apologize for that. I certainly don't. . Prince gives me a headache. Cee-Lo Green, Mobb Deep, Marvin Gaye, Rage Against The Machine and Mr. Lif are all examples of artists whose sociopolitical viewpoints are interesting and stimulating to me. hitting himself in the face with the microphone at the 1985 Grammy awards. We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color. Maya Angelou
