i was listening last nite, and looking at the CD booklet: WTF???!!!
first of all, we've got polaroid snapshots of prince's studio stuff, vault, awards, & c. which is pretty cool, and then a photo a bouquet of roses on fire in the snow. what's that supposed to mean? and the drug imagery: a bloody syringe, lines of cocaine on the back of the booklet. and his name/symbol is scrawled in blood. the broken 1999 album with a muddy boot print. look closely under p's eye: u can see a tiny upside down WB logo coming out of it like a tear.
then the monogrammed bible, PRN, emblazoned with a cross. guess this is before he discovered the NWT?
all in all, confusing, disturbing, provocative images that suggest the attitude he probably had toward his label at the time. any specialists in psychobabble here? what xactly is p trying to tell us with a snapshot of a heart in the toilet?!!

First question you have to ask, is who designed it, and what input did Prince have in the design.

from what I understand it symbolizes WB flushing Prince's heart in the crapper (not a big stretch to get that one) and how money is the drug that WB was addicted to when it came to the negotiations with P. The rest are just showing his pain and his art.
