Does concert on tape kick as much ass as this 1988 gig? The stage, the band (if you have Eric Leeds and SHeila E, you cant lose), Prince all over the stage doing splits and dancing...this is what you look back on fondly when you talk about the good ol' 80s. This tour was actually better than Purple Rain.

It's been donkey's years since I've seen it. Wasn't this the last concert on the Lovesexy tour? In a large way that's quite symbolic, because Lovesexy was the final album of his fantastic eighties era. I read somewhere that his guitar didn't work in his big Anna Stesia finale, so he looked at a bit of a loss of what to do

I wish this show was released on DVD!

Too bad his falsetto on this was so damned scratchy--like he was swallowin nails or sumpin.

Can't go wrong when a white T-Bird brings you out on stage.
