Miles from the Park

Just acquired a vcd copy of this show - this has got to be up there with the man's greatest ever. The band are too funky, P in a comical mood sharing jokes with the audience, Miles appearing all too briefly. It's interesting also that whilst playing much of the SOTT tour the "look" is already evolving into that which would be used for Lovesexy (Black and white, polkadots, words on sleeves) and away from the peach and black. Anyone care to share their thoughts on this show?

Glad you've got this one, Mojo. I've got both the CD and VCD and it's up there with my very favourite Prince boots. Everyone should have a copy, don'tcha think?

Except for the mix, its a great show. My favorite part is when they start kicking off "Hot Pants". Miles's performance is rather disappointing. And Prince didnt really give him too much room.

Your right about his look. I was surprised to see how its a blend of SoTT and Lovesexy. I was surprised by the quality of the show, this would be the kind of gem that could be released on DVD
