A complete copy of Prince

Has anyone here heard of Mr Funk? I came across his tunes on mp3.com and, at first, honestly thought that Prince was releasing free tunes onto mp3.com under an alias.

After a very concentrated listen I suspected it might not be him, but I was having great difficulty telling. He sounds exactly like Price doing his Camile business.

Take a look. The album cover on this page is clearly meant to look like someone we know, and all the references in his songs are properly blatant.

Either way, I e-mail this forgery and asked him whether he got off on impersonating someone else. Not surprisingly, I received a load of abuse from him in return.

"Sexy As U Wanna Be" was the first "Prince" track (it was listed as "Prince") I ever downloaded after I got connected to the Internet in the year 2000.

To my great surprise I heard someone so desperate to be Prince that he puts up his own songs under the name of Prince at fileshare programs. Sad...
