Are Mr. and Mrs. Nelson expecting? I don't follow the details of P's life like others apparently do, so I don't know the answer to this question. If so, however, he's likely to be nervous as hell (I know I'd be!) till the birth, and everything's OK with the baby.
On the other hand, I'm not religious, so I can't really walk in his shoes with respect to matters that require such faith and strength. *****************************************

Some sez yea, some sez nay.
And the one who requires strength is the mother. What the hell does he need "such strength" for? Honey, I've given birth twice, with no medication, and the one I'd be feeling for is Mani. The Normal Whores Club

I would like to take this time to say that I hate threads about this man's personal life. Especially those filled with rumor and speculation. Just like it would be nobody's business if I were pregnant or not, it's none of our business if he and his wife are expecting.

Yea, Mani is expecting sticky thighs. All you others say Hell Yea!!

I meant the strength to wait and see if this baby's OK. (If there's was a genetic component to the first one's deformity, Mani was not a contributor.)
Having seen what my wife went through with our 3 births, I'm still surprised she even went for anything past the first one. My motivation in asking the question is not for purient interest, but solely to parse out how this may impact on his craft. *****************************************

I think he'll keep it quiet next time.In case there are complications again.Maybe he can't risk trying to have a kid.

As often as people see Manuella ( such as just in June ), can anyone, by looking at her, assume she's pg? What a question! If ur new, excuse my irritation, but people claim(ed) Manuella is pg just about once a week around the org. NOT! Just saw her, & she doesnt show, & hasnt, since they've been married 4 17 mo. now. It would probably B awesome, & make some ppl very happy if it were true, but just maybe they dont want kids. Ever think of that? People dont get married JUST 2 have kids. Theres lots more 2 it. No matter how old prince gets, his women R younger & can have children anytime. He may want 2 B FULLY RETIRED B4 that happens? Plus, they might even decide 2 adopt someday? I guess my post on "what pisses U off most on the org?" should have been THIS topic as its sooo overdone, & boring, just like the "Mayte" topics always were & are. May the BELLS ring 4 U even when ur not in love.

[color=purple:6252e5f6a6:bc5e4090b2] . . .No matter how old prince gets, his women R younger & can have children anytime. . . in the old days, birth defects in children born to older couples were uniformly attributed to flaws in the women's 'old' eggs. however, new data shows that men over the age of 35 run the same risks when they reproduce as do women over the age of 35. as it turns out, cells age and eventually die because they constantly regenerate. each time they do so, a tiny piece of the original material (DNA) is missing. this is true for testicles as well as for ovaries. so, older men can't necessarily have healthy children as they age because the older they are the less healthy their sperm. check it out.

Well, I for one hope he does have a child(ren), not simply because it's what married people do, but because obviously it was something he had wanted at one time. And the way Prince appears to be, just because it didn't work out for him the first time, sure does mean he's giving up all hope. Anyways since they've been married only a little while (less than a few years) they should enjoy one another first. No matter how impatient the fams (me) are.

maybe i should of said we should mind our business of whether they have children or not.
i however meant thats what married people do mind their business when it comes to something so personal as to whether they have children ,want to have children or dont want to have children. you are all correct that not all married people have children. i do know what entails into a marraige. and most important of all. i did not curse or come at anyone in a fowl manner. how common of you to curse, just because there are two different ways we think. or rather just because we are opposed in opinion. get a grip. it really wasn't that deep to begin with. okay thaaannnkkksss

Friends, in an attempt to get this back on track, I really don't care what they do in their personal lives. The point of the post was not gossip, but to ask whether Prince's latest manifestations of erratic (and/or conservative - take your pick) behavior were due to prenatal jitters; especially given the medical history. Like many artists, the line between Prince's emotions and his work is very blurry.
Those of you who are parents or are trying to be parents may understand this more than some others. *****************************************
