if prince....

do you think if prince's NPG label and Madonna's Maverick label did join would it have been a sucess?

What would you think if prince was the next producer of Madonnas album? would it be good? would she help him have a comeback or would he bring her down 2?

If this would have happened in reality, someone would have lost an eye.

as i young lad i thought it would be a good idea for Paisley Park and Maverick to have a affiliation, more rooted in my affection for them than in any basis in reality. now, i don't think they'd play nice with each other, particularly the persons they have evolved (or devolved) into.

I have to agree with Marrk. I loved Madonna in the 80s and liked her in the early 90s. Now, I can't stand her!! She is such a phony ass sell out!!! Putting them together would be like a bird and a fish getting married. They might work good together; but one can't live without water and the other can't live without air, so that little union wouldn't last very long. Madonna can't live without a shit load of attention; and, Prince doesn't seem to be all that big on public acknowledgement anymore. Madonna lives by what her PR person tells her; and, Prince probably doesn't even have a PR person. They would probably kill one another. If they did do another song together, she would want to do some wacky stage performance; and, he would have to pimp slap her and say, "Bitch, I don't do that stuff anymore. Maybe you shouldn't either. How old are we now?" LOL Prince is a musical genius; and, Madonna is...well...Madonna. I still can't believe that they did that duet. I know one of them probably left that recording studio crying and/or pissed off that day. Sorry, but I personally feel that Prince is to good to be working with that sellout. I doubt Prince will ever do advertising for a chain of stores, even if they paid him to. Although, it would be funny to see him do an Old Navy commerical. lol He has too much style and sophistication to be working with Mrs. Ritchie.

I saw an interview with Madonna a few years ago on TV where she was asked if she would work with Prince again. Her reply: Why? I already did that.
The interviewer: But that was just one song. I'm thinking an entire album.
Madonna stares in disbelief for awhile, then: Next question.

Also, she once said about Paisley Park: That's not a record label. That's a harem.

Personally, I don't see how having anything produced by Prince could benefit her career, when him producing himself doesn't even benefit his own.

one thing I've always dug about Madonna is that She isn't afraid to say what She feels.
