WOW...saw David Bowies concert last night and was totally blown away - he played his new album from cover to cover...that guy has certainly got his shit together... Bowie also mentioned he was very happy that fans requested recent songs from his vast catalogue of music - he said it 'gives the artist a sense of fulfillment'.

Prince...check it out, you might learn a thing or 2.

The sound and vision of this concert was a mindfuck...

actually, there's some british show that the host was asking people to submit questions to, and he would ask Bowie some of them.


one of the questions I asked was that, since Prince's 90's career has had the same sort of trajectory that Bowie's 80's career had, does he think that there's any hope (or does he have any suggustion how) Prince could resucitate not only his well-deserved status as a legend, but his CREATIVITY like Bowie did, starting in the early 90's and continuing throughout the decade.

The Thin White Duke knows how to rock that shit. And he did a Pixies cover on his last album. Much props.

Yeah they did the question thing here in Australia. Most of the questions were pretty boring at this end. One question I did find interesting was, what albums are you listening to at the moment...Bowie has interests in macey gray's latest, blur, jeff beck, dandy warhols...

I was so hoping he would say Prince...wishful thinking.
