I am trying and have been for a long time to place an avater. Every time I choose one I get this thing saying it's too large but what I have picked is very small. i.e.

I have tried so many times. Any suggestion on where to find one? I would prefer something Prince, a pic of the symbol even...

Just convert your pic to JPG and play with the compression. Check the filesize and if teh picture still looks OK then go ahead...

You can use practically any image really. You just need to open it up in an image editing program like Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop, and resize and crop it down to 64 pixels by 64 pixels. Then save it as a Jpeg or GIF, both are compressed image formats.
