I am just thinking that maybe there is a lesson to be learned in how words - however meant - can be perceived by others.

It doesn't hurt to say "I would love it if he played - whatever - because those are my fave Jesse songs."
Making a demand by saying "Jesse better" makes it sound abrasive and downright threatening - not to mention it makes you sound arrogant and unpleasant.

Now, I don't know you, so I don't know if you always sound like that, but if you want people to be open to what you're saying rather than immediately turning them off, you might want to consider your phrasings more carefully.

A politely phrased sentence will always get you further.

And, yes. I reported you to the moderator for calling me what you did. A little thought on your side could have avoided this turning out like it did. There was no need to add that last half of your sentence.
