Too many to mention. There is one Prince beat that I really
like altho I know many people will surely hate it:

Mad Sex

It's even something "kirk left on the board" according to
Prince, but still, I like it. It sounds dirty.

The rest of my fav beats are all from 1986-1987.

nothing wrong with 'Mad sex' it chugs along nicely.

'Housequake' for me, the beat is off the hook.

Too many to mention! I love his beats, especially his eighties Linn Drum beats. The beat of When Doves Cry is actually what got me into Prince!

I still use the Linn Drums a lot in my music, I think these sounds still kick ass...

Dunno if he played it but the beat on 777-9311 by the Time is well worth checking out. I think John Blackwell name checked this one in an interview on NPGMC.com, and deservedly so.
