Do ya'll remember that rumor... I wasn't really into Prince back when it came out, but I remember hearing something about when the SOTT promos came out, everyone thought that Cat was actually Prince posing behind that black heart (wearing the peach-colored skirt and garter)!  Any comments on this? | |

He saw this pic on the 12" of "Sign "O" The Times" and ignorantly wrote it was Prince wearing a skirt and holding a black heart over his head... Now if only the idiot had turned over the 12" he would have seen it wasn't Prince (that's what I thought back then)... idiotic dumb fuck... Neversin. O(+>NIИ<+)O

I always thought it was kinda cool the way Cat was dressed up like the "female version of Prince" on the back of that single with the peach Cloud guitar.
I think I can actually remember hearing the conversations of older people saying that it really was Prince behind that black heart!!! | |

Not only do I remember it, I was about to post about it myself!!!
I have the 12" back at my parents' house, but I remember either thinking that myself or hearing about it an thinking it was he. I remmeber flipping back an forth from fron to back trying to figure it out... As someone said, we didn' even know who Cat was then. At one point, I might have thought it was "camille"... i.e. prince dressed as his alter ego.  |
